WC/Co Pellets – (PLTS) are highly spherical sintered WC/Co particles manufactured from grade powders utilized in WC/Co tooling. PLTS come in a wide range of chemistries, but the standard chemistry utilizes 94%WC/6%Co. PLTS are excellent for impact, wet well and the spherical shape make them a primary choice for a wear deposit that minimize the damage caused by rubbing on adjacent tooling. PLTS particle is typically rolled to sizes ranging from 10 US mesh to 60 US mesh and is used as a wear rate enhancement in applications that include tube rod, composite rod, and drop systems.
