WC – Macrocrystalline (WCM) is a fully carburized, coarse-grained crystalline tungsten carbide. WCM is thermally stable, wets well and has good wear resistance. The thermal resistance and unique shape of WCM set it apart from other tungsten carbides. If heat control is an issue WCM is the best choice. WCM particles range from 20 US mesh to 15 micron and are used for wear rate enhancement in applications that include PTA, laser, MIG, tube rod, spray fuse, infiltration and hot-press.
